Over the weekend, newly eased restrictions were published for Andalusia, where Quartiers operates. The new guidelines make it easier to travel to Marbella and increase the permitted capacity in the hotel and restaurant sector in the region.<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong><\/p>\n

Quartiers\u2019 facilities Boho Club Marbella and Quartiers Marbella Apartments are both located on the Spanish Costa del Sol in Andalusia, so the business is subject to and positively affected by the new guidelines.<\/p>\n

Travel to and within Andalusia<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>Travelling will become easier. International travellers entering the country still need to present a recent negative test for COVID-19. Now, however, what are known as TMA tests are also permitted, which give faster results and are less expensive than PCR tests, the only tests previously permitted. <\/strong><\/p>\n

From 12 December, residents are allowed to travel between municipalities, which was not previously allowed without a particular valid reason and presentation of a permit. From 18 December to 10 January, free travel between Spanish provinces is permitted, meaning that people from other parts of Spain can travel to Marbella. New guidelines are expected to be published after this period, depending on how the spread of infection develops. <\/p>\n

\u201cWe\u2019re happy that more people can now travel to our facilities, which offer safe accommodation in a warm climate without unnecessary points of contagion in lifts and corridors, and with the majority of the common areas located outdoors,\u201d comments Quartiers\u2019 CEO Marcus Johansson Prakt. \u201cWe\u2019re well prepared for more visits to our facilities as we \u2013 unlike many other facilities in Marbella \u2013 have been able to keep parts of the business open, which has also been appreciated by our regulars. During the pandemic, we\u2019ve been seeing a substantial increase in our sales during the day in the restaurant, and maintained top marks among guests who have ranked us on booking.com. With an average rating of 9.3 out of 10.0, we have a ranking on a par with Marbella Club and higher than both the Puento Romano Hotel and the Nobu Hotel in Marbella.\u201d <\/p>\n

Opening hours for hotels and restaurants in Marbella <\/strong><\/strong><\/p>\n

Restaurants can stay open from 18 December to 10 January until 10:30 pm, with a short period of closure between 6 pm and 8 pm. On Christmas Eve and New Year\u2019s Eve, restaurants are allowed to stay open until 1 am. <\/p>\n

Increased restaurant capacity in Marbella<\/strong><\/p>\n

<\/strong>There is still a 1\u00bd meter distance between tables in restaurants and a maximum of six people per table. The permitted capacity indoors is increasing from the previous 30% to 50%.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
